Tähdet ovat jouluisia juttuja. Niitä on isoja ja pieniä, kultaisia ja hopeisia. Jotkut tekevät pitkän matkan koristaakseen koteja ja joulupuita, toiset tähdet ovat "lähituotantoa" ja kaikki yhtä hienoja... Kultainen tähti on muisto Englannista, joskin matkannut ensin sinne ehkä jostakin Kaukoidästä. Kultabrokadikangas on ilmeisesti käsinkirjottu kullatulla metallilangalla ja harsolla. Sitten tähti on reunustettu huolellisesti kanttaamalla ja täytetty pehmusteella. Kynttilänvalossa tähti välkehtii himmeänä ja muistuttaa hieman oikeita tähtiä. Juuri nyt muuten harmaat pilvet ovat hetkeksi väistyneet ja ulkona on kirkas, sinimusta tähtitaivas.
Stars belong to Christmas. This golden star comes from England and is made of golden brocade decorated with wire and beads. It is beautifully prepared and shines in candlelights. Christmas tree decorations from different countries tell about different traditions. Some people love decorations made of glass or traditional things made of straw. Some people want just candles and some are using so much decorations that it is not possible to see the tree underneath. And concerning the tree itself - it is a big question between real trees and artifical trees...
